About
My name is Amy Richards and I am the Director here at school #44. I consider the South to be my home. I love the sense of community, the weather, and the wide variety of outdoor activities (camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, swimming in the ocean) around every corner. I have three daughters of my own (9, 6, and 4 years old). My oldest daughter Leslie attended preschool until she was three. Once I had my second child, I became a stay-at-home mom. Nonetheless, I remained very active in the lives of lots of little ones through my volunteer work with Girl Scouts, foster care and other community programs. As a director at Childcare Network in Alabaster, it will be my mission to make sure that the time your child spends with us is safe. I want parents to know that one of my primary goals for the children at our school will be to foster an environment where each child can challenge themselves and achieve. I want them to learn that it’s safe to try anything, that it’s ok if they fail, and that there is always an opportunity to try again.

About Childcare Network in Alabaster

Childcare Network utilizes HighReach Curriculum in our infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-kindergarten classrooms to focus on learning through play and experiences.

Our mission at Childcare Network is to provide children with the highest quality early childcare and education, to serve as a supportive network and resource for families, strengthening the communities that we serve, and to work interactively with other responsive networks and services to ensure that high-quality preschool education remains progressive, safe, and affordable for all families.

As the working parent’s best friend, we need to make sure our families are supported and experience firsthand the love we feel for our students. Choosing child care is one of the most important decisions you will make in your child’s life. Our school provides the foundation for our children to move from infancy through preschool into pre-kindergarten through a well-balanced curriculum full of developmental activities to stimulate your child.
