Welcome to our amazing school in High Point, North Carolina! My name is Lorien Gilliland, I am the School Director for Childcare Network #253. I have been a Director in Early Childhood Education since 2004. My family and I moved from Wilmington, NC where I was a City Director for a multi-site Preschool company. I had the pleasure of working at CNI #298 and was the founder of Childcare Network’s first Eco School. In becoming an Eco School our center’s focus was on ecological design, selection of learning materials with a focus on environmental practices, training of teachers with the use of eco-friendly curriculum installations, involvement of parents, and community outreach. Our center carried this Eco theme into every classroom and the outdoors and gardens. From there I went to CNI #237 to help instill some of the same Eco Focuses in the school. I look forward to sharing my passion for Outdoor Learning Environments with you and your family. Our goal is to not only provide a high-quality program but also to go above and beyond your expectations to ensure our children are the top priority. I take pride in our school and the relationships we form with our Childcare Network families. We look forward to meeting your family soon!
