Welcome to Childcare Network in Wilson, where we pride ourselves on being a high-quality early learning center. My name is Zahria Kenney, and I am the School Director. I bring over 12 years of experience in early childhood education. I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse educational settings—including NC Pre-K, Head Start, childcare centers, and public schools—and have extensive experience supporting children with special needs and families from all backgrounds. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Community Services and a Master’s in Education, and I’ve also served in various leadership roles throughout my career.
At our school, we strive to ensure that parents feel safe and secure leaving their children with us and that those children leave every day smiling. We know that early education is integral in establishing a solid foundation for a child’s educational journey.
Our goal for students is to foster an environment where each child can challenge themselves and achieve success. As many of our staff are parents themselves, we understand how rewarding and demanding a parent's role can sometimes be—especially as a working parent. I personally have been married for 13 years and am a proud mother of three, and my role as both a parent and an educator has deepened my dedication to creating a space where every child feels safe, seen, and supported.
We are committed to providing a supportive community for the families we serve. Our team wants every student to be happy, nurtured, and given the best learning opportunities. Our staff members provide a safe environment and nurture your child on their learning journey while giving them the freedom to explore and develop in a warm and caring environment.
