Welcome to Childcare Network in Roanoke, where we pride ourselves on being a high-quality early learning center. My name is Miranda Mallory, and I am the school Director. At our school, we strive to ensure that parents feel safe and secure leaving their children with us and that those children leave every day smiling. We know that early education is integral in establishing a solid foundation for their child's educational journey.
Our goal for students is to foster an environment where each child can challenge themselves and achieve success. As many of our staff are parents themselves, we understand how rewarding and demanding a parent's role can sometimes be, especially as a working parent. We are committed to providing a supportive community for the families we serve. We all want our students to be happy, nurtured, and provided with the best learning opportunities. Our staff members provide a safe environment and nurture your child on their learning journey while giving them the freedom to explore and develop in a warm and caring environment.

Our HighReach Learning Curriculum incorporates a variety of activities designed to support children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development. From creative arts and crafts to outdoor play, music, and early literacy programs, each day is filled with engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage hands-on learning through play.

Most of our locations may also hold additional quality ratings and accreditations demonstrating our commitment to high standards in early childhood education.

12/15/2025This is my children’s second daycare since we moved to Roanoke. I have to say that this daycare holds a much higher standard than the last. My wife and I have been impressed with the decrease in incident reports of my kids being injured (even bitten on multiple occasions) and that is always a good thing. The women that work there are super sweet and remind me of my older daughter back home. Most importantly they love my kids and my kids love them. I would recommend their childcare services a 100%

6/16/2025My children are on an every other week custody schedule and having to pay every week regardless of attendance is not affordable offering flexible part time options would be nice. I don't feel we were over charged as I think the teachers deserve to be paid for their work. And I hope that the higher cost is reflective of the teachers pay... it's just my family doesn't meet the income requirements for assistance and unfortunately the cost of care was out of our budget.

10/30/2024It’s hard sending your child to daycare, especially when they are so young and can’t speak to tell you what’s happening. This center makes it a little easier day by day. The staff is friendly and I appreciate them introducing me to other parents that have their babies there. In fact, my lil luv muffin already has a little buddy there. The warmth and communication both in person and through the app has made me feel better. Thank you to everyone there for helping me to be comfortable day by day. My lil luv muffin has been all smiles when I pick him up and I truly appreciate you all!

10/29/2024I have 2 toddlers that have been there almost a month now and let me tell you, this center is GREAT!!! Soon as you enter, there is always someone there to welcome you. Even going through the hallways the staff are always smiling and greeting you. The facility is ALWAYS clean. There hasn't been a time yet whether dropping off or picking up my boys that I haven't seen someone wiping something down or organizing something. The teachers are EXTREMELY patient with the children. I have one that's in his true terrible 2 stage but they handle him with great care. Not to mention they are wonderful with keeping you updated on what happens daily. I would highly recommend this daycare at this location to anyone. We love Childcare Network Starkey Road!!

9/25/2024I started my child here at 9 months old. The first day was rough because she was used to staying home with me for the whole 9 months but after the first day she started loving it here! The teachers in this room show that they truly care for the children and do all they can do for them. My child absolutely LOVES her teachers - she waves by to me in the morning and runs to her teacher. The staff has helped my worries go away with updates with my child and when I call throughout the day they make sure I’m well aware that she is okay and doing great! With the app I can go through and see how her day is and they upload pictures so I can see her too! The app shows me what she eats throughout the day, her diaper changes, activities & photos! I’ve had a great experience with Childcare Network on Starkey Rd!

1/24/2023We have had multiple children attend Childcare Network (on Starkey) for over 4 years now. The teachers and admin have always been so kind and professional. I feel confident that my children have been safe and nurtured there. The teachers really work with the kids to help prepare them for kindergarten. They had my oldest writing his letters and numbers by age 3, I was a proud momma! Very nice and clean facility with a gym for rainy or cold days. They prepare good meals for the kids so I don’t have to pack lunches or snacks. Great daycare!

My 3 yr old has grown up in the COVID world so he was late starting day care, I was nervous about how he would settle in and the staff was very reassuring during our tour. He has adjusted well, I noticed an immediate jump in his vocabulary and desire to write and color. The school is great about communicating with us, and I feel confident he's getting attention and learning lots during the day. The center is clean and welcoming, the rooms are cozy with plenty for the kids to do and they get lots of physical activity. We have nothing but positive things to say after 4 months.
