Welcome to Childcare Network in Charlotte, where we pride ourselves on being a high-quality early learning center. My name is Kayla Smith, and I am the school Director. At our school, we strive to ensure that parents feel safe and secure leaving their children with us and that those children leave every day smiling. We know that early education is integral in establishing a solid foundation for their child's educational journey.
Our goal for students is to foster an environment where each child can challenge themselves and achieve success. As many of our staff are parents themselves, we understand how rewarding and demanding a parent's role can sometimes be, especially as a working parent. We are committed to providing a supportive community for the families we serve. We all want our students to be happy, nurtured, and provided with the best learning opportunities. Our staff members provide a safe environment and nurture your child on their learning journey while giving them the freedom to explore and develop in a warm and caring environment.

We believe in maintaining open and ongoing communication with parents. We provide regular updates via CN Moments, including photos, details of your child’s day, and important announcements. We also offer parent-teacher conferences and are always available for in-person or phone conversations.
Our HighReach Learning Curriculum incorporates a variety of activities designed to support children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development. From creative arts and crafts to outdoor play, music, and early literacy programs, each day is filled with engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage hands-on learning through play.
Yes! We provide free nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day, prepared following USDA guidelines. Our menu caters to children’s dietary needs and preferences, ensuring they receive healthy and balanced meals while in our care.
Yes, Childcare Network Charlotte The Plaza is fully licensed and adheres to all state and local regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of every child in our care. Most of our locations may also hold additional quality ratings and accreditations demonstrating our commitment to high standards in early childhood education.

2/27/2026Our daughter has been here for over a year, and from the start, the staff has been so welcoming! Everyone shows that they know and care for our daughter. Throughout her time here, she has been able to socialize and make friends. She has learned so much from the teachers and the programs they use. The class sizes are on the smaller side, which is great, because I know she is getting attention. Most importantly, she is happy while she is at daycare. Miss Kayla is wonderful! It shows she cares about the center and is great at overall communication. There could be more communication/updates from the classroom, but I know the teachers are busy! If I ever have a question about my child that isn’t reflected on the app, I know I can email and get a speedy response back.
